Geography of the Bunurong

Geography - Exciting new programs.

The Geography Curriculum requires students to undertake fieldwork.  What better locality than Inverloch to study coastal landforms, to observe change.  Eroding beaches, rock shelves, cliffs and an active inlet provide the setting to consider man's impact on the environment in a rural and coastal environment.  Students can develop their sense of wonder, curiosity, knowledge and expand their interest in amazing environments, occupations and recreational pursuits.  What problems arise from man's activity?  Local and global impacts.

We have local geographers who know our local environment intimately.  They are available to help tailor programs to your needs.

We are also prepared to provide comprehensive programs focusing on global changes; warming, climate.  Contact us to discuss your needs.

Use our Teaching Space.  Perhaps you are running your own field trip around Inverloch but wish to have space for a lab session or giving your own presentation.  On camp and wan't to show a film?

We can seat 45 and you would have access to our digital projection facilities.  Call us to negotiate a very reasonable rate.

We can come to you!  We understand how difficult and costly it can be to organize a group to travel.  Give us a call if you wish to enrich a topic with a visual / hands on presentation.  Rockpool life? coastal landforms? Dinosaurs or Megafauna? regional animals and plants?  Saltmarsh and Mangroves? Climate change?  Wetlands?  Land use issues?  Regional history?
