Joining South Gippsland Conservation Society

Members are the lifeblood of the South Gippsland Conservation Society. Annual subscriptions and donations are what support and sustain the Society's work. By joining the SGCS you also become a member of the Australian conservation community.

What are the Benefits of Membership?

Membership provides opportunities to get involved in a variety of activities such as working bees to carry out tree planting, weeding, building and maintaining walking tracks and boardwalks, excursions to local wetlands, heath lands, coastal areas and rainforests, and talks by guest speakers on a variety of topical issues. Unlike Kermit, it isn't lonely being green with SGCS.

Membership entitles you to:

  • participate in all activities organised by the SGCS
  • attend meetings and vote at the annual general meeting
  • receive regular updates on SGCS activities
  • get a 5% discount on most items in the Bunurong Environment Centre
  • meet like-minded people and help your local environment

Who can Join the SGCS?

The SGCS welcomes anyone who would like to learn more or share their knowledge about the environment of South Gippsland. (Note: new member applications are subject to approval by the Executive Committee.)

Here are our RULES OF ASSOCIATION.
