Members are the lifeblood of the South Gippsland Conservation Society. Annual
subscriptions and donations are what support and sustain the Society's work.
By joining the SGCS you also become a member of the Australian conservation
community.
What are the Benefits of Membership?
Membership provides opportunities to get involved in a variety of activities such
as working bees to carry out tree planting, weeding, building and
maintaining walking tracks and boardwalks, excursions to local wetlands, heath
lands, coastal areas and rainforests, and talks by guest speakers on a variety
of topical issues. Unlike Kermit, it isn't lonely being green with SGCS.
Membership entitles you to:
participate in all activities organised by the SGCS
attend meetings and vote at the annual general meeting
receive regular updates on SGCS activities
get a 5% discount on most items in the Bunurong Environment Centre
meet like-minded people and help your local environment
Who can Join the SGCS?
The SGCS welcomes anyone who would like to learn more or share their
knowledge about the environment of South Gippsland. (Note: new member
applications are subject to approval by the Executive Committee.)
Once you are a member you will receive an email each year to invite you
to renew.
